The knife handles are shaped like baguettes and are ceramic. The one handle seems to have some paint or a dark substance on, which does not clean easily. Have tried to completely clean them but the color starts to fade. The blades are in good condition, only light scratching. The block is also ceramic and other than needing a special clean, in a good condition.
