Vintage Salmon Coloured Carnival Glass Candy Bowl On Three Feet

Carnival glass is moulded glass to which and iridescent surface has been applied giving it a shimmering effect. Adopted by collectors in the 1950s often handed out as prizes at carnivals and fairgrounds.  In the early 1900s carnival glass was massively produced in the USA and reached a height of popularity in the 1920s. At this point in time more than 50 colour ways have been identified. Carnival Glass is highly collectable worldwide with its bright cheerful sheen catching on in modern day home decor.

The item is a gorgeous salmon pink coloured candy bowl on three scrolled glass feet and beautifully decorated with etched roses and leaves as well as a scalloped rim.

CONDITION: This bowl is in absolute mint condition with no damages noted.
