Vintage SAP issue Pattern 1907 bayonet. This bayonet has a date marking 6 43 indicating that it was manufactured in March 1943. It has a steel blade and wooden handle. The left ricasso bears the crown (George Rex) over "1907" and the manufacture date with maker's stamp.  The right ricasso bears the military broad arrow with "X" (bend test stamp) and various inspection marks.  The pommel bears the "SAP' stamp. The bayonet is 55cm long with the blade being 43cm. It is in good condition for its age and the locking button is functional - I have not cleaned it. Great buy for the collector.
