VINTAGE TRI-BAND SAPPHIRE AND DIAMOND YELLOW GOLD RING. 9ct.
This is a lovely tri-band sapphire and diamond half eternity ring set in yellow and white 9ct gold. It features a centre row of 9 x 1.5mm round cut blue sapphires, with 8 x 1.2mm single round cut diamonds on either side - total 0,11carat. The sapphires and diamonds have been set into a beautiful gold claw setting, which enhances the gorgeous rich blue colour of the sapphires perfectly. The shank of the ring is narrow, simple and solid, and splits before reaching the ring head. It's a beautiful piece of jewellery!
The ring bears the hallmarks for 9ct gold ( 375 ), London Assay, the jeweller signature and the date mark. It's a vintage piece and although the stones are in good condition, the shank shows some sign of loving wear! It is not a big bling piece as you can see in the photographs. Its just a rather nice vintage piece that would make a good stacking ring. The sapphires do have a beautiful bright hue in the light.
Sapphire is a September birthstone, and is known to inspire creative expression and assists with inner peace. Diamond is an April birthstone, and is a symbol of purity, strength and love.
