TIMELESS VINTAGE SAPPHIRE HALF ETERNITY 9CT YELLOW GOLD RING. GORGEOUS COLOUR

This graceful vintage piece features 3 marquise-faceted dark blue sapphires claw set in 9ct yellow gold, interspersed with 4 sparkling round-cut white stones, also claw set. A slim yellow gold shank holds the 21mm wide x 2mm long x 3mm high ring head firmly; the gemstones extending slightly down the shoulders. The ring bears the hallmarks for 9 carat gold (375), the jeweller's signature, the London Assay mark and the date mark for 1984. The 0,21 carats of sapphires have been jeweller tested and authenticated. The white stones (sadly not diamonds!) have been really well cut and have excellent sparkle. The combination of the particularly bright blue sapphires with the white stones set into the deep yellow gold create a particularly pleasing effect. The ring is strong enough in appeal to stand alone but it would make a really perfect stacking ring, too. It is 33 years old but is in excellent condition. A regal and classic colour combination, simple and elegant design.
