The glazed colours remain incredibly vibrant, crisp, and clean with beautiful front face appeal. As a genuine, historic piece of fine European pottery that has travelled through time, it exhibits faint, completely expected fine glaze crazing distributed evenly across the white field under close inspectiona gorgeous testament to its authenticity. Crucially, the reverse underside rim features a significant, raw unglazed chip/flake to the ceramic body along with an adjacent minor glaze nick on the edge profile. This chip remains entirely on the underside edge, meaning it is completely hidden from view when the platter is resting on a flat surface or hung flush against a wall. Standard minor shelf-friction scuffing is also present on the unglazed base ring.
