Set of Six Cake Forks.
Gold washed (plated) on metal (not silver) prongs
800 Silver (Continental silver 800 parts silver per 1000) handles.
Probably dates to the 1930s, based on the deco look of the handles.
Gold wash generally good but some spotting (see picture of three forks, prongs only.) Also some variation in shade of gold.
800 silver handles in good condition. Each handle is stamped "800" near where the prongs insert into the handle. The handles are decorated with a hammered effect which catches the light in an interesting way.
The forks are 14.5 cm long and the prongs are 1.5 cm across.
The total weight is 136.2 gm. Please note that this is not the silver weight. The prongs are not silver and the handles are filled.
