French Paris SFBJ 252 size 10 Repro Vintage Porcelain Doll - - a very good buy
42cm tall, glass eyes, beautifully painted, very well made and most probably 1 of a kind. The doll makers of 25 - 30 years ago and still to this day pride themselves on reproducing an authentic doll as close in detail to that of the original. It is an art and should be given the respect it deserves. They usually only make 1. This doll is beautiful and will look even better with hair. There are no errors in the way she has been "poured" into the moulds. Her colouring is fantastic and difficult to achieve.
A reputable doll maker will always sign his/her work, and should, it is a notable craft. This doll has her makers name in the neck socket so I am unable to get a clear picture, but it says - Repro - Desiree - 27/03/88.
Perfect condition but no wig. Head is a little loose in socket. a little glue remnant where cloth meets legs.
Postage on this item R45-00 - Happy to combine multiple purchases to save on postage but check with me to see if it pushes the weight into the next category or not.
