Vintage 'Sgian Dubh' Scottish Knife

This short, vintage, Scottish knife and leather sheath known as a 'Sgian Dubh', has brass mounts with a dark solid wood handle with a traditional Scottish design carved on one side and is plain on the other side. The original 'Sgian Dubh' was worn under the shirt close to the armpit and is now traditionally worn in the stocking of the Highlander and often referred to as a stocking dirk. The knife is in great condition and measures 20cm in length, with a blade length of 9,5cm.
