This is a wonderful, desk organizer, apothecary cabinet, wall shelf in the shaker style that you'll be able to put to tons of good use. I've given it some french blue color, then a creamy white and gently distressed it for the blue and wood tones to peep through. I added the FAUX WOOD WHIMSY to the back!

It can either mount on a wall (I will put 2 saw tooth hangers to the back) or sit on a flat surface. It has an open display shelf, perfect for desk accessories, apothecary jars or other treasures, and has 1 drawer on the bottom with a brass knob. I think it would also be perfect for holding recipe books or spices in the kitchen.
