Vintage Silver plated Stratton Powder Compact Made in London c1970 - New, unused, in original box 

Beautiful mid-century silver plated Stratton compact. It is unused and in its original box with sifter, powder puff, and powder. The front is a very attractive pattern of silver leaves with the Stratton signature at the bottom just left of the catch. The back is a basket weave pattern with the Stratton logo in the center. 

The catches work well. The inner sifter is in place and overall the compact is in an excellent condition with no damage, dents or scratches. There is a sticker on the mirror stating that the lid and base is silver plated.

The box is in a good vintage condition with a little bit of age related wear. There is an insert from Stratton, an inscription and date was written on this insert indicating that this was at some point gifted to the once owner. This beautiful clean and bright silver compact would make a wonderful addition to any collection. It has a diameter of about 7.5 cm.
