Vintage SILVER Stamped Roman/Trojan Helmets, Set Within Oval Medallions, Cufflinks, Pair

Presenting this rare and unique (Not another one available) Vintage 1950s - 1960s "SILVER" marked Roman/Spartan warrior helmet with a plume set within an oval medallion pair of cufflinks. The oval-shaped SILVER cufflinks feature a relief design consistent with vintage roman-themed jewelry, specifically depicting a Roman soldier's helmet or a gladiator. The central motif is a highly detailed, embossed ancient roman helmet often referred to a "Galea" complete with plume or crest.

The back of each cufflink is clearly stamped "SILVER" The simple block-letter "SILVER" is common in the mid-century vintage pieces.

Toggle style - the rounded, swivel-back toggle mechanism (also called a "whale tail") became the dominant style and was refined throughout the 1950s.

These are high end pieces. Neoclassical themes, such as Roman or Spartan warriors, were highly fashion during the Mid-Century era (c1950 - 1960)

Size of each oval - 24mm (L) x 18mm (W)

These items were not polished, my personal feeling is that it will take away the authenticity of these pieces.
