Info: An old, well used Slazenger Royal Crown tennis racquet with a round shaft made in Australia.

Most of the Slazenger decals have been rubbed off but the "Made in Australia" is still partially visible as well as part of the Slazenger Royal Crown logo used in the 1960's. 
The tape on the grip is still original.
The strings are very tight and the racquet head does not have any curvature at all, a well strung racquet indeed, in fair condition for it's age.
Slazenger is an English sports equipment brand, currently owned by the Frasers Group (formerly, "Sports Direct International") since 2004.The former company had been established in 1881, being one of the oldest surviving sporting brand names.Slazenger has the longest sporting sponsorship in world history, thanks to its association with the Wimbledon Tennis Championship, providing balls for the 
tournament since 1902.
Slazenger was founded in 1881 by a pair of brothers, Ralph and Albert Slazenger. In 1881 Ralph Slazenger left his native Manchester, and opened a shop on London's Cannon Street selling rubber sporting goods. Slazenger quickly became a leading 
manufacturer of sporting equipment for golf and tennis.

Condition: Fair, for a racquet of this age that has been used, a great piece of sporting memorabilia.
