Vintage Smiths Astral brass ships clock

Vintage Smiths Astral brass ships clock. The case is brass with a hinged glass cover. Glass is bevelled and thick and opens with a small knob. No chips or cracks on the glass or case. The 15cm dial is a white/ivory colour with no cracks or chips. It has black hour and minute hands, and no second hand (apparently Ships Captain cabin clock did not have seconds hand). It has black roman numerals depicting the hours and an outer ring depicting the minutes. The face is marked Smiths Astral - made in England. The clock has a battery operated movement, which apparently dates it to the 1960,s. The clock does not work - however movement replacement should not be too costly. 4 holes on the back plate allow for mounting onto a wooden mount or direct on to a wall.
