SOLID STERLING SILVER VINTAGE AUTHENTIC SPOON RING

Lovers of vintage items are finding new ways of turning old pieces of cutlery into a special piece of jewellery. I love the fact that items from so far back can be reinvented in the form of wearable pieces of jewellery. This beautiful handmade spoon ring is in particularly good condition. The solid sterling silver is highly polished creating an expanse of gleaning silver on the finger into which the very tactile and attractive high relief floral designs created by the original silversmith are presented to their best. The flowing lines run along the frame and continue over the ring head.The ring is a wraparound so it can be adjusted a bit - but being solid sterling silver, and having lived its previous life as a piece of cutlery, it is quite rigid! Weighing in at 8,51 grams, it's a substantial piece of sterling silver. Definitely vintage and yet modern in appeal! This ring bears the hallmark '925' for sterling silver.
