This stunning ring is from a lot of estate jewellery.

It features a large piece of genuine polished amber. Amber is fossilised tree resin.Because it originates as a soft, sticky tree resin, amber often contains animal and plant material as inclusions. In the piece set into this ring you can pieces of leaves and plant material in the amber which create a stunning effect.

The piece of amber is 26mm x 24mm in size.

The setting of the ring is SOLID sterling silver (marked) -- please see the photos for a close-up of the stamp. The ring is a size Q (8)
