Vintage Stanley Bailey No. 5 smoothing plane in original box. I would estimate that this old plane would date to the 1960s. It is manufacture from cast iron with rosewood handle and knob. The plane would have been used for smoothing and finishing. The plane is in good working condition (couple of scuff marks) - it is still in its original box with "hints on using a Stanley plane" brochure. Great buy for the wood worker.
