Vintage Stanley No. 2 Sweetheart smoothing plane - cheek chipped. This USA made smoothing plane dates to the early 1930s. It is manufactured from cast iron and has solid wood handle and knob. The blade has USA Sweetheart markings. It is in fair condition, but unfortunately one of the cheeks is chipped. It is still however quite a rare plane. Great buy for the collector.
