Vintage Sterling silver capstan shaped inkwell with a clock in the lid. This inkwell is hallmarked WG&S (William Griffiths & Sons), lion passant (Sterling silver), Chester, a (1926). It is capstan shaped, and has a clock in the lid. The inwell weighs 212g, and is in good condition for its age - clock runs and stops, most probably needs a service. The lid is inscribed. Great buy for the collector.
