Vintage Sterling Silver Handled Carving Set 

This fine quality, early, sterling silver handled carving knife and fork set from the 1950/60's was manufactured in Sheffield, England by makers 'W Goff & Son' ('William A.C. Goff' - '1893-1958'). They have lovely, embossed sterling silver handles with a stainless-steel blade and fork prongs, with the handles and 'guards' being stamped 'STERLING', and the blade being stamped 'SHEFFIELD, W. GOFF & SON, ENGLAND'. The pair are in excellent condition and appear to have never been used. The knife measures 27cm in length, and the fork 23,5cm and together they weigh 178g.
