VINTAGE STERLING SILVER HEART-SHAPE PENDANT WITH TACTILE DESIGN ON 64 cm CHAIN

 A "lightly" vintage piece age-wise, this pendant on chain dates comes from an estate collection dating back to the 1980's. The pendant is a solid piece of sterling silver measuring 5 cm (50 mm) top to bottom and 3,5 cm (35 mm) across. It is heavily tactile on the front with sterling silver bead-like details forming a frame around the perimeter of the heart. It is smooth polished sterling silver on the back. The hallmarks are somewhat worn so the full pedigree is difficult to ascertain but 925 for sterling silver is clearly visible along with what looks like the jeweller's signature.  The chain is long (64 cm or 640 mm). It is a snake chain and has dark markings in sections. The hallmark is clear with both 925 for sterling silver and "Made in Italy" for its origin. It is quite a heavy piece of jewellery, weighing in at 26,9 grams.
