Vintage Sterling Silver Small Desk Clock

This very attractive, sterling silver 'Carr's' clock with dark wood backing would be ideal for a desktop or bedside table. The small clock has a lovely shape, with a very attractive silver front with raised detail of a young boy and girl playing with vines of flowers. It has a battery operated movement with a white dial, gold coloured hands and roman numerals in black, and is marked 'R Carr' 'England'. The silver is English hallmarked for Sheffield 1997 and stamped 'RC' for silversmiths 'R. Carr Ltd'. It has a small silver plaque on the back which reads 'P.G.M. love A.L.M.' '25.12.98'. The clock is in excellent condition and keeps very good time. It stands 10,5cm high, with a width of 7,9cm and a depth of 2,6cm.
