Vintage 'Straight Cut-Throat' Razor (Harrisson Bros. & Howson)

This early, traditional, boxed cut-throat razor with an imitation bone or ivory handle appears to be in excellent condition with a very sharp blade. The blade is the flat or square point type, with the words 'OUR SPECIAL' engraved on it. The arm of the blade is impressed with 'HARRISSON BROS & HOWSON' and 'CUTLERS TO HER MAJESTY', above the makers name it is stamped 'VR' with a crown between the letters. The razor comes with an early cut-throat box, with the words 'JOSEPH RODGERS & SONS', with one end coming loose. The box with razor measures 17cm x 3,2cm x 1,4cm.
