This is an absolutely stunning Mahjong set, all in the original box with a lovely detailed artworks and brass fittings. The case depict a lacquered traditonal red image of a dragon and a bird. The inside of the case is lined with chinese paper and perhaps instrctions on how to play the various games. The pieces are stunning (well over 100 pieces), with all the pieces included to play Mahjong and various other games. The pieces are all carved on some kind of bone on bamboo. The depictions on the pieces are all unique and incredible, detailed birds and fisherman etc. Vintage sets such as this easily fetch R10000+ overseas, so a fantastic find on the BoB R1 auction.
