This auction is only for the lovely Tour a Pivoter tool in the pictures.

No reserve, very reasonable starting price for such a collectible piece. This is an auction and has no Buy-it-now option.

This is a best quality Swiss Tour a Pivoter used by watchmakers and clockmakers for working (polishing?) pivots. It’s a very usable and unique piece of watch repairing equipment.

This item is in a well conserved condition, made of steel and brass, and very collectible. Case measures 275mm long and 130 wide. Seems to be nickel plated or perhaps just highly polished steel? Everything seems to be there and in working order. There is, however, a piece that has broken off (see picture). Not sure of its importance.

Will still give years of use if you are in this trade, or otherwise for a collector, this is Swiss mechanical perfection at its best. Staining of the highly polished steel commensurate with its age. This only adds to its beauty and character. The case is marked “Tour a Pivoter, A Vis de Rappel, Qualitè Superieure”. The item itself is marked “Fabrication Suisse” and then “WIT”. I’m not knowledgeable about these things and therefore the item is sold as is. Please scrutinize the pictures.

Unfortunately no pick-up of items. I will combine shipments, if requested (auctions within a reasonable period), but this may cost more depending on weight.
