Vintage stag handled, silver nickel bolster with brass liners and pins. The knife is tight with excellent snap, there are some scratches to the blade and minor nicks but appears not to have been sharpened and is clearly marked. The attractive genuine stag scales are in good condition, a well crafted knife. Measurements : closed 115 mm / open 213 mm.
(Tibor Szankovits, quality awarded folk artist and his sons, Viktor and Örs make the well-known Hungarian knives with Rooster logo. Knife-making craft runs back to the early 1800s in this family.)
