Description: Vintage T.W. Pottery Hand-Painted Flower Brick.
A stunning and highly collectible vintage ceramic flower brick from the renowned South African studio, T.W. Pottery (Trendware). This piece is a masterful local interpretation of 18th-century European "pique-fleurs" (flower arrangers). It features a timeless hand-painted blue leaf motif on a crisp white glaze.
Manufacturer: T.W. Pottery (Trendware), South Africa.
Authenticity: Fully marked on the base with the T.W. archway logo and "Hand Painted in S. Africa."
Design: Elegant rectangular form with a decorative scalloped base. It features 1 large central hole for focal blooms and 14 smaller stem holes to keep arrangements perfectly upright.
A contemporary tribute to 18th-century Delftware and Chinoiserie traditions.
Made in South Africa, 1970s-1990s.
Condition: Beautiful vintage condition with an authentic fine-line glaze crazing consistent with its age. This adds a lovely antique character to the piece. No chips or structural cracks.
Visible Flaws: Minor age-related wear.
