VINTAGE TAPESTRY AND VINYL JEWELLERY BOX

1970s vintage multi-compartment jewellery box featuring a faux-leather brown vinyl exterior with an ornate gold-tone scroll border and a beautiful floral tapestry insert on the lid. The interior is lined in a vibrant, period-perfect mustard yellow velvet-effect fabric.

It is designed with a practical layout including four open corner compartments for larger pieces, and a central six-slot ring roll section to keep your rings securely stored. An integrated rectangular mirror is fitted to the inside of the lid.

CONDITION

• Exterior: The main body of the brown vinyl is in good vintage condition with minor wear. The central gold-patterned metal and vinyl closure clip is fully functional and snaps shut securely, though the vinyl on the flexible hinge of the clip shows noticeable cracking and wear from age and use (as shown in the detailed photos).

• Interior: The mustard yellow lining is clean and in very good, presentable condition. The mirror is intact but shows typical vintage tarnishing/clouding.

• Tapestry: The floral tapestry panel on the lid remains bright, intact, and well-preserved.
