VINTAGE TATLER 3 BIG GAME FISHING REEL MADE IN ENGLAND

This is a nice old vintage GRICE AND YOUNG (G&Y) TATLER III BIG GAME FISHING REEL. Made in Christchurch England.

Tatler Reels were known in the game fishing world for their achievements at landing large fish and their record speaks by examining the following: 5 BRITISH and 2 WORLD RECORDS, plus thousands of near record breakers were all taken using the Tatler Multiplier Reel during 1953 to1989.
IDEAL FORTROLLING OR LINEFISHING OF LARGE BIG GAME FISH.
It is a multiplier reel, on account of their geared line retrieve (one turn of the handle resulting in multiple turns of the spool).
CONDITION:SHOWS SOME WEAR OF USE. CHROME HAS SOME MARKS. NEEDS A GOOD CLEANING. BUT MECHANICALLY STILL IN FINE OPERATIONAL CONDITION.
