Vintage! 'The Angelus,' by Jean Francois Millet - Embossed Wood Mounted Lithograph

This is a Lithograph print of the iconic painting The Angelus, An oil painting by the French painter Jean-François Millet, completed between 1857 and 1859. Stretched over a concave plaster? mold, and mounted on a convex routed edged piece of Natural Wood.  Inscribed on Back To Sophie with short message in Afrikaans dated '78.
The painting depicts two peasants bowing in a field over a basket of potatoes to say a prayer, the Angelus, that together with the ringing of the bell from the church on the horizon marks the end of a day's work.
