Vintage 'The Metropolitan' Whistle (J. Hudson)

 

This vintage, nickel-plated on brass police whistle from the middle 1900's has a short metal chain with a large ring attached to it. It is stamped 'THE METROPLOITAN' 'J. HUDSON & Co, 244 BARR STREET,BIRMINGHAM', and it's in excellent condition and works well. The whistle measures 8cm in length, and 15,8cm with the short chain.
