Vintage Vacuum Oil Co. South Africa Ltd 2 Gallon Motor Spirit can with brass cap. This old oil can is marked "Valor 12 31" on the bottom, indicating that it was manufactured in December 1931. The can is red, and is embossed "Vacuum Oil Co. South Africa Ltd, 2 Impl Gallons, Petroleum Spirit Highly Inflammable" on the top and "Motor Spirit" on the 2 broad sides. It has a brass cap. The can is solid and air tight with no holes, but has wear to the red paint and some surface rust. Great buy for the collector.
