A handcarved wooden box and chopstick set, c.1969 Vietnam

The box lid slides open and closed - inside are 3 sets of handcarved hardwood chopsticks (7 total)

The top of the box features a lizard and hard wood

The tops of the chopsticks are carved in to what may be a bat, owl, or dog - abstractly of course - see photos

The set is in very good condition - the box is intact and tight; the lid slides easily in to place.it is old and it has traveled; the chopsticks in great condition without damage or discoloration; the box is still in very good condition

The box measures 27.5 x 9 x 4. cm

The chopsticks measure 22 cm
