Sold as one set of 6 spoons in the set. On certain platforms these spoons sell for R209 EACH!

I love all of these porcelain soup spoons. Each is unique and lovely. Everyone in the house can have one that they love for their very own.

It is a flat bottom spoon with a pointed front end and a short handle. Some call it a Chinese spoon, a Chinese soup spoon, an Asian spoon or a duck spoon.

The reason why chinese soup spoons are shaped this way : In ancient China the spoon was more common than chopsticks, which were used in cooking. The spoon was more useful for eating because the most common food grain in North China was millet, which was made into a congee, or gruel.  The spoon was better fitted for eating its soupy texture in an elegant way .

Approximate dimensions :  135mm length
This is a lovely piece to own. It's still in a very good condition considering its age and will give you joy for many more years. Most definitely an item to treasure and pass on to your heirs.
Its a lovely old piece which can still be used and enjoyed daily. A MUST HAVE!!

Due to the fact that I am a working Seller, I will not always be able to answer your queries immediately. Please have patience and keep it in mind.

I also DO NOT WORK on Sundays on Bid or Buy. So please do not expect a reply until the next working day.

I have the right to close and/or withdraw an item from auction at any time.

Should you win a bid and non payment occurs, I will be left with no choice but to report and block you. The reason being that non payment has a financial implication to me as a Seller. We pay commission on all orders/bids won (even when it is a non-payment) as well as on shipping cost. Thus bidding on an item, not intending to proceed with payment is not acceptable and will not be tolerated.
