This vintage Heathkit Visual-Aural Signal Tracer, Model iT-12 is one of the reliable, valve operated signal tracers, complete with the magic eye and is still in very good working and cosmetic condition and has been used intermittently until last year. Refer attached photos for the condition.
It comes complete with the Audio/RF probe and original manual and powers up correctly The internal valves, including the visible magic eye, light up and the internal speaker picks up mains (50 Hz) hum correctly when probe is touched (adjustable with volume). This vintage instrument is still very useful for troubleshooting audio (Hi-Fi) and pre-FM radios.
The rarity of this instrument can be judged by research on the internet where this identical model is selling on eBay to collectors for equivalent of approximately R4000
