A genuine early Red Cross Society badge awarded to members of the Women's Auxiliary Army (W.A.A.) / War Work volunteers, likely dating from the WWIWWII era. These badges were issued to women engaged in support, logistics, medical assistance and community relief under the Red Cross umbrella.
