Vintage William Rodgers Bowie Hunting Knife with Leather Sheath.  Mint Condition.

A quality bowie hunting knife by renowned Sheffield maker William Rodgers.  The fine steel shaped blade is etched "BOWIE KNIFE" along with the iconic "I CUT MY WAY, WILLIAM RODGERS, SHEFFIELD, ENGLAND" stamp.  Shaped woodgrain handle with brass rivets, bolster and crossguard.  Solid and well-balanced in the hand.  Accompanied by it's original leather sheath which is stamped "SHEFFIELD, ENGLAND".  Excellent condition - appears to be unused.

The William Rodgers brand is a historic English cutlery and edged-tool manufacturer, originally established in Sheffield in the 1830s. The brandrenowned for its iconic "I Cut My Way" slogangained worldwide fame for producing robust hunting, scouting, and military knives.
