Vintage Wittner Mechanical Metronome

Vintage wooden Wittner mechanical metronome, circa 1970.

In good condition. Recently refurbished with new wind-up mechanism and working well.

The pendulum is slightly off balance and thus the beat is a bit irregular, more noticeably at quicker tempos. The tempo is correct however, producing 60 beats at 60bpm etc.

It has been this way ever since I've had it, either due to a manufacturing defect, or age. This issue can be corrected by setting the metronome at an angle with a support under the left foot.
