Vintage wood and brass centrepin fishing reel. I would date this old fishing reel to the 1930/40s. It is manufactured from wood (mahogany?) with brass fittings and bakelite type handles. There is a starback configuration on the reverse side with a drag knob. The reel is 10cm in diameter and 5cm wide. It is in good condition ( 1 handle has a chip)- drag (ratchet) works perfectly. Great buy for the collector.
