Vintage Wooden Metronome - Maelzel Paquet, France (1815 - 1846)

This vintage wooden metronome with metal plaque that reads "Maelzel Paquet, Fabricant France, 1815 - 1846", works nicely and the winding mechanism also in good working condition. This metronome has considerable age and the wooden body is showing some wear with some small surface dents and scratches and I also notice a small wood chip on the one side, next to the top hinge of the front window and a small chip on the uppermost wooden piece. One of the 3 feet it stands on looks like a replacement foot. Still for an item this old, one surely can overlook a couple of minor blemishes.
