Vintage Wooden screen - I think Swiss - such a fabulous eclectic piece

VINTAGE WOODEN 2 DIVISION SCREEN

I got this from an old aunt of a friend. She came here from Switzerland which makes me think it is from there, I mean does the painting not take you to alps? but I could be wrong. It has a art deco look to it with some very basic art work on it which looks unfinished. I was going to paint my own picture but never did.  It's extremely heavy and dark, but I think it has gotten that way with years and years of fireside smoke and oil. I think (again, I'm guessing) that it could be Oak. It's a very interesting piece though and very appealing just as it is actually.

Height 84cm, width of one panel 42cm, width of both together 84cm, 2cm thick

Condition. Excellent. Has a small sliver of wood out on one of the risers, otherwise just needs a bit of cleaning up and polishing. I have had it for about 20 years but it is at least 50 years old, probably older.

For COLLECTION ONLY from Fairland Jhb, very heavy and large, and because some petty person reported my collection fee and because apparently it's not allowed, who knew? yet a million people do it, I will now be charging a storage fee from day 1. R25-00 on day 1 and R5-00 per day per item from day 8 if not collected in a week. No exceptions, no lenience like before.

If someone from out of town wants it you may organise your own courier
