Vintage WW1 `N.R.P. Augusto Castilho` Cast Metal And Solid Oak Commemorative Ship`s Plaque.

A vintage cast metal plaque of the Warship "N.R.P. Augusto Castilho", a warship in service of the Portuguese Navy during World War I. It was sunk in 1918 in combat while escorting the steamer São Miguel, originating the last Portuguese casualties of that conflict.  Mounted on solid oak.

Size : 24 cm x 9.5 cm x 0.08 cm
