Use
To use as an immune booster, add half a teaspoon of powdered ascorbic acid to juice, water or green tea. In order not to destroy the vitamin, it should be added to a cool or warm drink (vitamin C is not resistant to high temperature).
To use in product formulations, add to water phase of formula, usual final concentration 0.5-10 %. Tip: sprinkle vitamin C powder slowly to the water under constant stirring to assure that everything dissolves completely. Should be formulated at pH 4-5 for best results.
Applications: Lotions, creams, sun care & after sun products, shampoos, makeup products (e.g. lipsticks).
