Vixen Camera Adapter SX #3931 (made in Japan)

The SX Camera Adapter by Vixen is an extension tube for eyepiece projection imaging through the #2680 Flip Mirror and all other situations where a Vixen telescope's focuser barrel diameter is reduced to a 31.7mm push-fit barrel.

Usually a Vixen's focuser barrel diameter is larger than 31.7mm (1.25"), to accommodate things like 2" diagonals and large format cameras, and an included adapter reduces that larger diameter to 31.7mm (1.25") so that 1.25" accessories can be used.  To use this adapter, first insert your 1.25" eyepiece into the back of the flip mirror or diagonal as normal-this SX Camera Adapter attaches to the outside of the spot where you insert the eyepiece (please note that Vixen's NLV and NPL eyepieces cannot be used).  Add a Vixen T-Mount to the back of this SX Camera Adapter, and you're ready to attach your SLR camera and capture images through the rear of the optical path.

Due to back-focus concerns, the SX Camera Adapter cannot be used with the R150S Newtonian reflector telescope-for the R150S, you'll instead need the #3911 36.4mm Camera Adapter.
