The Vodafone K3805-Z is the world's first USB modem to incorporate Icera's IceClear(tm) interference-aware technology.
IceClear(tm) uses sophisticated signal processing algorithms implemented in software to cancel the effect of interference from other cells, potentially delivering up to triple the previous average connection speeds for Vodafone customers in weaker signal areas and improving network efficiency and reliability.
This USB modem also has a slot for an external antenna (in case you need to boost the signal) and a slot for a micro SD memory card so you can use it as a memory stick as well!
Requirements
To use this device and the Vodafone Mobile Connect software, you need:
- A computer running Microsoft Windows 7, or Windows Vista (SP1 recommended), or Windows XP SP3, or an Apple Mac running Mac OS X 10.4.11 (Intel) or 10.5.8 or above. 10.6.2 or above recommended - (10.4.11 not supported on PowerPC)
- At least 100MB free disk space and 256MB RAM.
- A USB socket and administrator rights on your computer
- Your own or a prepaid SIM loaded with a data bundle (not included)
