This is the service manual printed for 2000 to 2002 Volkswagen 1.8L Turbo engine.

A must have for any Volkswagen owner and comes in very handy when ordering parts or making repairs. The manual covers the complete tear down and rebuild, pictures and part diagrams, torque specifications, maintenance, troubleshooting, etc. You name it and its in here.

For 2001 - 2002 Golf, GTI, Jetta
Engine identification number is stamped on a machined pad on front of engine block, below cylinder head, where engine and transaxle mate together. In addition there is a sticker on the valve with engine code and engine serial number. Engine code is also included on the vehicle data plate.
