This is a volvo dl244 manual 1982 with overdrive acting as a fifth speed gear. original condition, these are the real pics of the car.been through 2 owners and im selling it. the car is mechanically sound, just drove it from cape town, consumption in town 550 km to a tank, 55l tank. open road drops to 650 km on a tank.for this car,a real car, built for safety and quality it is excellent. comparable to cars made today and much better built than most. safety was first when built. google the volvo,s and they have a million mile club,known for just never ending relaibility and safety,comfort. comes with lumbar support, disk brakes all round, overdrive.no leaks whatsoever. this a car you cannot compare with the new volvos or any other for the build quality and safety.they use these motors in boats.this is the 2.1 single carb motor, very relaible.
PROS- original car, engine not opened as yet,still runs strong as a new car
solid on the road, discs all round, comes with manual do it yourself book, new tyres (continental)
was well looked after

cons- dashboard needs attention, can be bought online,and so can all other parts IF needed.
car not heating up,but i would have the radiator checked as it is the original since new.
wipers as well, but working
right hand side indicator lens lost on trip from ct to jbg, only saw in jhb, can obtain parts on net or tom camphor motors jhb.
