The obverse side of the medal portrays a Boer with ox-wagon with "Voortrekker Eeufees 1938" while the reverse portrays the map of South Africa with 4 places marked on map - "Vegkop, Bloed, Slagter's Nek" and one I cannot make out. It also has "Die Groot Trek 1838".
