Russian quality at it's best! Yes, you read right. Contrary to suppressed beliefs, the Russians are renowned for making stuff which just works and lasts. They have the technology, the know-how, the labour and the machinery.
I remember a conversation I had with the late Arrie Meyer, former Springbok Aerobatics champion regarding his Russian Sukhoi SU-26 Aerobatics plane. He flew to Russia to buy this plane. To his surprise, the "factory" was situated in an open field, consisting of corrugated iron buildings with leaking roofs.
I asked: "Ok Arrie, why a Russian plane?" And his answer was short and to the point: "Their planes do not break!"
AK47's and MIG-27's comes to mind here!
Same factory which produces Rapira Platinum Lux and Rapira Swedish Super Steel blades, but these blades all differ in metal type and honing angles.
These are excellent quality blades which would give you 5-6 good close shaves per blade. So, a tuck of 5 blades will give you 25-30 shaves, costing R16. Unbeatable value for money.
