Very good clean condition. Name in front. Two attractive colour maps in pocket at back as called for ( Cape Town Foreshore Plans ). Along with a further attractive colour map of the Development Plan for the Central City Area from March 1951 AND a 1959 article on the sale of Cape Town Foreshore Sites ( "The World's Finest New Area") and a Map from the Cape Times dated April 28 1959 on the Proposed Road Plan for Cape Town. A very interesting set of maps and documents to accompany this book on the most ambitious city land reclamation project in South Afric, which totally changed the nature of Cape Town, and according to some, cut it off from the sea.
